When using waterless products, the sequence of using the microfiber cloth is different from the traditional one to ensure safe and optimal cleaning

Specifically, we start with the long pile side of the cloth for a very specific reason: waterless products work without the aid of water to remove dirt from the surface of the vehicle. Therefore, the long pile side is ideal for capturing and trapping dirt particles, preventing them from remaining in direct contact with the surface, thus reducing the risk of scratches.
In the case of a traditional wash, the water has already helped remove most of the dirt before it goes to the cloth. Here, on the other hand, the waterless product works precisely because of the cloth’s ability to lift and hold the dirt without the need for rinsing.

This first pass with the long-hair side minimizes the possibility of scratches due to direct rubbing of dirt particles on the bodywork.
Once this capture step is completed, proceed with the short-haired side to remove product residue and dry the surface, resulting in a clean, halo-free result.

In fact, the short-haired side is more suitable for final drying and polishing, due to its ability to better absorb liquid residues and leave the surface perfectly dry and shiny.
In summary, with waterless washing, the order of use of the cloth is reversed from traditional cleaning to better protect the vehicle surface and ensure an optimal result.
